About the Exibition
Baroda Reloaded presents a dynamic showcase of young masters from Baroda, a city long recognized as the epicenter of contemporary art in India. Renowned for its rich artistic legacy, Baroda continues to be a vital hub for modern and contemporary Indian art, with a diverse creative landscape ranging from Narrativist and Modernist expressions (including installations, pop art, kitsch, and minimalism) to Post-modernist approaches such as activist, indigenist, socialist, mediatic-realist, and photo-realist art.
This exhibition features artists who have emerged from Baroda’s vibrant art community and are now well-established in the national and international art scene. Many of them have had long-standing associations with Priyasri Art Gallery, Mumbai, and AQ @priyasri, The Artist Studio in Baroda.
Baroda Reloaded celebrates the evolving identity of Baroda’s art movement, highlighting the continued relevance and innovation of its artists.
